What We Do
What We Do
Adults come to the Training & Learning Centre because they need to upgrade their skills or learn a new skill for a variety of reasons, including:
Employment:
Today's job market requires us to continue learning and upgrading our skills to get a job, keep our job, or grow in our current position. Workers need to be able to communicate with others, be aware of safety precautions and be a good team member.
Apprenticeship:
Essential skills are used in all trades, in different ways and at different levels of difficulty.
Secondary & Postsecondary:
Pursuing a high school diploma or further education at a college is the first step toward most career paths.
Independence:
There are many challenges in today's fast-paced world. It can be hard to keep up with new tools, gadgets and methods of communication.
